Richard has created work for festivals, local galleries, local fund raising events (GOSH) and 4mations.tv. His cartoon illustrations have been published by Scotland Magazine, WPC Press and Toons Mag. Richard trained in art and design and worked in hand-drawn animation. A good deal of his early work experience is in theatre and music related industries.
